Controlled static hose testing can prove to be a useful tool when identifying leakage paths within a building cavity. This particular cavity was located on the 14th floor of a high rise building. Due to the complex design of the roof structure normal means of access was not possible. Access into the gutter cavity was achieved by creating a small penetration through an external wall located inside the building’s plant room using a videoscope.
